You’ve heard about the ‘Multicultural Fair’ this Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Farmers Market site (1271 West Capitol Avenue, behind Walgreens).
Well, there will be an open house party at the Community Center nearby.
The center plans to offer a selection of children’s craft ideas “from around the world,” prizes for best multi-cultural costume, games, face-painting and popcorn. Pick up an “open house” postcard at the center or the parks department, and turn it in for a chance to win a “family theater fun pack.”
The event will be held at the same time as the fair — noon to 4 p.m., on Oct. 1, at 1075 West Capitol Avenue.
