Open house at fire station on Saturday

These kids from Stonegate Elementary School got a tour of West Sacramento’s Fire Station 45 on Sept. 26. The station will hold an ‘open house’ for everyone this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Lake Washington Boulevard. There will be equipment demonstrations, child car seat info, a bounce house, coloring contests, kids’ fingerprinting and face painting, and kids’ bikes to be raffled off, as well as free refreshments. ‘Sparky’ the Dalmation will be on hand to take a photo with you.
