The West Sacramento Police Department has just announced that it has arrested a 17-year old local boy for “felony cruelty to animals,” after a cat was set on fire on May 2.
The police not identify the juvenile.
“A detective from the West Sacramento police was assigned the case and was able to establish leads which led to the arrest this morning,” said Lt. Tod Sockman of the West Sacramento Police Department in a press release today.
