Party at rowing club boathouse

The River City Rowing Club plans a fundraiser with a BBQ, beer garden and live music from 4-8 p.m. on Sat., Sept. 29, at the boathouse on the Port of West Sacramento.

  There will also be a boat dedication ceremony: at 5:30 p.m., when the club will dedicate a boat in the name of the late Rex Babin, a former club member and editorial cartoonist for the Sacramento Bee.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $40/couple and $12 for minors. Free for kids under 12. At the door, it’s cash only, $30/adults, $50/couple or $12 for minors. Tickets are available at http://rivercityrowing2012.eventbrite.com.
