The “Progressive Council” of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) invites interested people to a membership meeting on Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. in the Turner branch library, 1212 Merkley Avenue.
The organization hopes to become more involved in local youth activities, particularly in Bryte and Broderick. For information, contact Sharl Castorena, 838-0531. All races & ethnicities welcome.
