FROM THE NEWS-LEDGER –

The annual “All Charities Raffle” has returned to West Sacramento. The event is organized by the West Sacramento Foundation, which arranges for raffle prizes and prints tickets for local sports groups and nonprofits to sell as a fundraiser. Each of these groups keeps $9 of every ticket’s $10 price.

A large number of local groups have tickets to sell. Interested West Sacramento organizations may call Charles Moore, (916) 417-5623, for more information. You can also visit www.WestSacFoundation.org for more information.

This year’s prizes include the use of condos in Hawaii and Mexico, hotel and B&B stays in resort areas, a Whitey’s Jolly Kone combo every day for a year, use of a 20-person luxury suite at Raley Field for one River Cats game, a $500 IKEA gift card, a gas grill, bikes and more.

The raffle will be held during a spaghetti dinner hosted by the Knights of Columbus, 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Oct. 12 at Holy Cross Church, 1321 Anna Street. $5 dinner price.
