NEWS-LEDGER ONLINE — OCT 4, 2013 —
About 20 mobile food vendors will set up shop on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at West Sacramento’s River Walk Park.
The second annual ‘Trucktoberfest’ will bring kids’ activities, a full bar and a beer garden, along with music from “Journey” and “Tower of Power” tribute bands.
The food trucks will also complete for the best potato recipe, in a contest that brings the winner $1,000.
Confirmed food trucks, according to www.sactomofo.com, include :
Koja Kitchen (SF), The Chairman (SF), Smoothie Patrol, Simply Southern Foods, Krush Burgers, Drewski’s Hot Rod, Chando’s Tacos, BaconMania. Swabbies, Volkswaffle, Dave Dawgs, Gameday Grill, DavePops, Green Papaya, Tula Churros, Slightly Skewed, Big Red Bus, Rich’s Ice Cream and Gyro King.
Park near the ‘ziggurat’ building, 707 3rd Street, and walk up to the levee.
