The Chamber of Commerce presents the annual lighting ceremony for the city Christmas tree from 6-8:30 p.m. on Friday, in front of city hall at 1110 West Capitol Avenue. It’s free, and hundreds attended last year’s event. There will be holiday music and refreshments, and kids can have their picture taken visiting with Santa.
