FROM THE NEWS-LEDGER -- Firefighters found “heavy fire coming from the entire first floor, including the garage,” of this Citrus Street home when they responded on May 25. They requested a second alarm. Firefighters had to help rescue people trapped in a next-door unit, but most of the damage was confined to the original home. One resident received treatment for a minor burn, and the local chapter of the Red Cross helped make housing arrangements for the family displaced from this house, reports the West Sacramento Fire Department. The cause and origin of the fire are under investigation. (Photo courtesy of W.S.F.D.)"
