“Foodies,” take note:

West Sacramento will see its first food truck rodeo on Saturday, Sept. 29, as more than 20 mobile food vendors descend on River Walk Park near the ziggurat from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will be the last event of the year for “SactoMoFo,” which organizes the Sacramento mobile food fests.

There will also be a beer and wine garden at this event, which is billed as “Trucktoberfest.” And live music is scheduled from noon to 6. Parking is available at the Department of General Services (the ‘ziggurat’ building’ at 707 3rd St) for a fee.

Typical mobile food vendors include Krush Burger, Chando’s Tacos, Coast to Coast Sandwiches, Mama Kin on the Go, Payton’s Cupcake Place, Smoothie Patrol & Coffee, and others.
