At-risk elderly man is sought:
WEST SACRAMENTO NEWS-LEDGER ONLINE — OCT 12, 2012 —
West Sacramento police are looking for help finding a 73-year old man suffering from dementia. According to Sgt. Nathan Steele of the police department:
“On 10-12-12 the West Sacramento Police Department received a report of an at risk 73 year old missing male. The missing person Tony Savala was last seen 10-10-12 at approximately 1100 a.m at the Margaret McDowell Senior Center located at 1525 Merkley Ave, West Sacramento, Ca.
“Mr. Savala is not from West Sacramento and is unfamiliar with the area. Mr. Savala suffers from dementia and other medical conditions which require medications. Mr. Savala was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, blue jeans, brown leather shoes, a silver watch and possibly a blue hat with a union logo. It is believed that Mr. Savala may be on foot in the area.
“Mr. Savala is a Hispanic male, 5-11, 200 lbs, brown eyes and grey hair. Please see the attached photo. Anyone with information on the location of Mr. Savala is requested to contact West Sacramento Police Dispatch at 916-375-6474. “
