‘Home invasion’ robbery in Southport
NEWS-LEDGER ONLINE — SEPT 18, 2013 —
West Sacramento police report what they’ve called a ‘home invasion’ robbery that occurred this morning in Southport.
“On September 18, 2013 at approximately 2:30 am, two men, described as black male adults, entered a residence in the 3600 block of Cooper Island Road, through an open back door,” said Lieutenant Tod Sockman of the West Sacramento Police Department, in a press release. “The suspects bound the two victims and beat the male victim with a pool stick. The suspects stole an unknown amount of cash and fled the residence. The incident is still under investigation.”
