Santa arrives in front of city hall for the 2010 lighting of the Christmas tree. The popular event draws hundreds, and offers music and refreshments (News-Ledger photo)

NEWS-LEDGER NEWSPAPER –

The West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce invites you to attend the annual ceremony for the lighting of the city’s holiday tree in front of West Sacramento City Hall, 1110 West Capitol Avenue.

The event will take place from 6-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6. The program includes music and carols from the RCHS choir, West Sacramento Community Choir and Russian Evangelical Baptist Church Youth Choir. Santa will arrive for family photos beginning at 6:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.westsacramentochamber.com or call 371-7042.
